Simcitizens is looking to expand our audience with creative talent who have the passion to create articles and video content for years to come. In order to widen our reach to new audiences, we are looking for contributors to focus on The Sims and other simulation games.
If you live, breathe, and eat The Sims, and you have the ability to cover news articles the moment information arrives, then Simcitizens is looking for you!
What’s in it for you?
Although this is considered a voluntary position, you won’t be left empty handed. By contributing news articles each month, you’ll receive compensation for new Sims packs and expansions the moment they arrive. This will allow you to create in-depth guides and fashion showcases without spending a dime. In the months we do not have a expansion or stuff pack, you will instead receive a small financial compensation for your time. Either way, you’ll get something for free each month you are active on the site.
What are we looking for?
Contributor A:
- You’re a writer or blogger who can cover news articles relating to the Sims 4.
- You must be typically free on Tuesdays to post the latest information.
- It is highly recommended that you are actively watching Twitter postings from Gurus and other Maxis employees.
- It is also highly recommend that you actively follow posts on the official Sims 4 forums.
Contributor B:
- You’re a writer or blogger who can cover news articles relating to the Sims 4.
- You are active on Twitter and follow the SimGurus.
- You must be typically free on Tuesdays and Fridays to gather or post the latest information.
- You have video editing capabilities and are adept with Photoshop or other image editing programs. (Be ready to create polygonal backgrounds such as this.)
- You follow new postings on the official Sims 4 Forum and other forums.
- You are interested in writing articles for other games like Planet Coaster and Cities Skylines.
Contributor C: (Commission Based Position)
- You’re a writer or blogger who can cover news articles relating to the Sims 4.
- You are knowledgeable about modding and/or creating custom content for The Sims 4.
